We are a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) striving to Live Grace First in all we do as we worship, witness, and work to embody Christ in the world. We are located on the west side of Weatherford, Texas near the public library. Although this has been our home since 1974 we have a much longer history. Even as a church with a rich history we live into our reformed tradition of continously reforming as the Holy Spirit leads us.
We desire to act boldly and compassionately to serve people who are hungry, oppressed, imprisoned or poor. We recognize Christ’s urgent call to be a church of action, where God’s love, justice, and mercy shine forth and are contagious.
We are part of the Presbyterian Church (USA). The beliefs of our tradition stem from Reformed theology and our form of government stresses the active, representational leadership of both ministers and the church members.
Our members and our church serve the community in many ways. Manna Storehouse, backpack programs, mission trips, prayer shawl ministry, and the Children’s Advocacy Center are just a few ways we we work to meet human needs in Weatherford and beyond.
